We told you about London-based wave punk outfit DESPERATE JOURNALIST before, right? They released a highly recommendable self-titled debut in the beginning of 2015 and are now already delivering follow-up material in the form of Good Luck, a brand new EP. Perfect Health is the lead single from it.
Why Should I Watch This?
Because if you happen to love the sweet and energetic magic of groups like THE CURE and SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES you will definitely fall for singer Jo Bevan and her band. The video for Perfect Health sets the mood right for all the shiny sinister gloom from the early 80s. Filmed in sweet black and white it features close-ups of the band, city images, band buttons and burning candles. You know, all that melancholic stuff.
