In a few days, Danish indie-darlings Efterklang will release their beautiful new album "Windflowers". A record which brings the three band members back to their musical roots. Nine lovely and emotional songs take the listener on a journey to the essential things in life. NBHAP author Miriam met up with the two bandmembers Casper and Mads to have a pleasant chat about the creation of their newest work.
Another year goes by and it was... well, definitely different than the last one but still quite weird. The second consecutive Covid year was a rollercoaster ride of emotions where hope and despair went hand in hand and we're surely finished yet. Luckily, this resulted in quite outstanding musical releases which gave us much needed comfort and distraction in these difficult times. Today, we're honouring the fifty records that meant the most to us in the past twelve months.

Beloved danish band EFTERKLANGreports back with another joyful music video for a song from last year’s longplayer Piramida. In the recent past they already gave us fancy visualizations for songs like The Living Layer or Sedna. This time the group comes with haunting images for the song The Ghost. Spanish director Victor Carrey about the clip: “The video has a puzzle structure: the whole story progressively makes sense to the viewer as minutes go by. The video is somehow a ghost story.” And it really is – witness right here how these beautiful images all come together under that ghostly topic.
