According to latest statements a follow-up to SAVAGES 2013’s great debut record Silence Yourself is getting concrete. A few weeks ago the London post-punk comboalready confirmed via their Facebook page that they’re currently working on a new record. In a recent interview with Spin Magazine vocalist Jehnny Beth now also opened up a little about its nature. The new songs are recorded right now in the RAK Studios in London, former home of ARCTIC MONKEYS, RADIOHEAD or THE CURE, and according to Beth they shall sound pretty heavy concluding that “It’s like a beast, this record”. A promising outlook on what we have to expect there from SAVAGES. A release date has yet to be named but the new record should be out by the end of this year or early 2016. To shorten the waiting let’s head back to 2013 and the raw energy of Husbands.
