Rendezvous - short film

On July 28th 1914 the first world war started. Time to remember what happened, time to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of WW1. May our memories live on, may humanity be strong enough to learn from the past 100 years.

A thing we often forget to remember is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The short film Rendezvous commemorates the 100th anniversary of WW1 and reminds us of PTSD. Three kids venture into the deeper depths of a Woodside, ignoring their mother’s commands which lands them in the blowing mists of danger. Pioneered by the youngest sibling ‘fearless’ Abigail, the kids encounter the homeless ex military man Frank. Frank is struggling with traumatic stress disorder. The two parties have a confrontation, which leads to having Harvey, another one of the siblings taken hostage. An epic tale of love and war that reminds us of things we should’t forget.
