Charismatic YEAH YEAH YEAHS lead singer KAREN O has decided to go solo. Crush Songs is the name of her first ever full-length solo record and it will be released on September the 9th via Cult, the label of THE STROKES singer Julian Casablancas. In a letter on her website the musician states that most of the songs were written when she was 27 during a difficult period in her private love life.
