MELT! Festival Returns With First Line-Up Announcements For 2019

It’s the coldest winter day right now, the sky is grey, first snowflakes already showed up and we’re hiding our bodies behind layers of clothes. Nope, that’s not the most pleasant scenario but it makes us long for the summer festival season even more. And Germany’s Melt! Festival is one of those events that – despite all the changes it went through – has been a constant in our summer schedule, always delivering a diverse and surprising line-up that mixes contemporary music’s more adventurous new artists with old favourites. A recipe we enjoyed once again this summer and one we’ll most likely also enjoy next summer again. Today, we’re happy to share a first glimpse of the MELT! Festival 2019 line-up with you.

Bon Iver is playing an exclusive festival show in Germany, bringing old folk classics along with hopefully also new material live on stage while probably still trying to hide himself on stage the best possible way. Further highlights from the urban music scene include shooting star Jorja Smith, hip hop heavyweight A$AP Rocky, and UK Grime genius Skepta. Lovers of profound electronic beats also get Modeselektor, Four Tet, Arca and Ross From Friends. Find the entire first wave of artists below with more announcements following the next months:
