The Swedish duo is one of the latest buzzing acts of the newcomer scene from Malmö and made a blasted return with their sophomore record this spring. NBHAP editor Andreas caught up with them for their Berlin appearance earlier in June to chat about passion for what they do, the process of evolving and essential priorities in the music business.

The Swedish singer and stop-motion animator, Vargkvint just released her sophomore record via LEITER. "Månens hav" is an ambient composition of songs that have a highly conceptual character. Tracing the connections between the moon, the ocean, and humanity, we peel back the instrumental layers of the album in our extended conversation with the artist.

Swedish neoclassical artist and composer Sofia Nystrand, aka Vargkvint, releases "Stillhetens hav II", the first single from her forthcoming solo album "Månens Hav" out in June via LEITER. Translating to "sea of silence", the gently swelling song slowly submerges you in its ambient sound.
