Folk mastermind Sam Beam and his band IRON AND WINE premiere the music video for Joy, an uplifting piece from the just released new longplayer Ghost On Ghost. It does not feature Beam himself but really beautiful and lovely to watch visuals. Director Hayley Morris dedicates the track to the woman IRON AND WINE sing about as she points out: “You catch glimpses of her within the different plants, rocks, trees, and objects that occupy this world. My goal was to have the viewer feel the effect on him through bursts of color, growth and transformation. The video was made by projecting hand-painted water color animations into stop-motion landscapes.” Watch the result right here.
