Good and bad news for all BLOC PARTY fans out there. As guitarist Russell Lissack told Postmedia News recently the group is planning another big hiatus after their run of summer festivals. “At least six months, maybe a year maybe two years, it’s hard to say” he described. “Once we start taking time off people start doing their own thing,” continues Lissack, “So once people start doing things then you’ll start naturally extending how long we spend apart.”
This special gap with new projects helped BLOC PARTY getting back together after 2008’s Intimacy in the form of last year’s engergetic longplayer Four. And the break might be just the right idea to avoid further struggles. But the good news is – a new EP with fresh material is on its way this summer. NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION keeps you updated.
