Today is a grey day here at the NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION headquarters. So we might take things a bit smoother in terms of today’s ‘Sound of the Day’. And who else could help us better with this than the tender voice of buzzing r&b newcomer FKA TWIGS. The crafted singer just announced her first full-length album LP1 which will be released on August 12 via label Young Turks. And today comes an interesting rework of her song Ultraviolet.
American producer INSIGHTFUL remixed the song, gave it a certain dubstepping but grooving vibe while still leaving enough space for FKA TWIGS‘ distinctive voice.
