After the BON IVER collaboration Tiff and the electropopping tune Chain My Name comes Smug, a third teaser from the upcoming longplayer.
Mysteriously evolving around Leaneag’s vocals this one presents itself as a relaxed grooving piece of electropop. And there’s a lovely groove in it which gives Smug an almost r’n’b-like vibe. Definitely the better side of popular music. Of course it must be, since it says POLIÇA on the sleeve. The new album comes by the end of October. Already today Smug becomes our Sound of the Day.
