Daphne Lazou is the brain behind the Greek band Daphne And The Fuzz, and after releasing their debut, self-titled, album two years ago they’re back on the album trail again. Space And Sound is their (kinda) new single, and it captures the band’s lush, narcotic haze at its best. Space And Sound is a slow-drifting cloud-pop song, a love song that floats on a bed of little guitar splashes and Lazou’s smooth, graceful vocal. It marks a great leap forward for the band – they’ve always been elegantly pretty, but Space and Sound is their best outing yet. Their new album 2 AM is out on October 12th on Inner Ear.
