Throughout most of the first pandemic year dynamic synthpop duo Ultraflex really brightened up our lockdown life with the charming sounds of their hit-packed debut album Visions Of Ultraflex and things like that cool mixtape they created for NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION. And just in time for the beginning of Covid’s third year Kari Jahnsen aka Farao and Katrín Helga Andrésdóttir aka Special-K are back with new material and telling us to stay calm might be the best thing you can do in such a stituation. Relax brings all the sharp 80s-infected dance sounds back and on top of it the two protagonists once again deliver a sensual flirtatious vocal performance. The massage theme addsa an extra dose of sexual tension to the equation and so does the lo-fi music video that could be especially interesting if you happen to be a fan of those popular ‘satisfying videos’ on YouTube. Hopefully, this is just the start of the second Ultraflex season. We surely can’t wait for it.
