Dives Spread Catchy Surf-Rock Vibes With ‘100 Times’

Ever since their first self-titled EP in 2017, the Viennese Garage-Pop outfit Dives has had quite the run, playing support shows for established acts such as Franz Ferdinand or Courtney Barnett and crashing big European festival stages. Their new single 100 Times follows their powerful full-length debut Teenage Years Are Over and perfectly captures the bold and unpretentious attitude of the Austrian three-piece. Energetic electric guitars pair up with a raucous voice, creating a fresh and vigorous surf-pop piece that really makes you want to play it over and over again. For the first time in the history of the band, this song was not created together in the rehearsal room, but with the aid of WhatsApp calls and home recordings, only united afterwards. The result is pretty catchy and worth giving at least one try, maybe even some more.
