Norwegian duo Misty Coast are perennial favourites of ours, so the news that they’re back with a new single is always a positive. Don’t Let Me Fall is their new cut, and it’s in line with all the classic hallmarks of their songs. Guitar shimmers up and down the song, Linn Frøkedal’s vocal sighing like a vapour trail across the verses, before it all gets a shot of a adrenaline that shoots through the chorus. As always with the band, the song’s melodies glow right through the shoegaze haze, a light through the cloud. It’s out now on Brilliance.
