The alt-folk act Mountain Boy was birthed from the so-called ‚Project Sinai‘, an experiment where New Zealand-rooted and meanwhile London-based songwriter Aaron Clarke undertook the dazzling journey of writing 52 songs in 52 days. Written and composed during the middle of winter, the new single Morning Heat wallows in warming memories of intimate togetherness and assembles the emotion of shared affection for one another into a soothing and moving tune. Mellow piano arrangements and cautious guitar elements carefully surround the delicate and calming vocals, altogether managing to recreate the fleeting experience of passionate intimacy.
