Equipped with loads of creative tension, the young folks behind the London rock outfit Sorry are really reluctant to settle for less than the highest of highs. Their new single More is a brief, but then ever so powerful and ferocious example of the explosive potential that lingers in the minds of the group around the two friends Asha Lorenz and Louis O’Bryen. Crossing a sound atmosphere somewhere between the likes of Sonic Youth, Pixies and St. Vincent, the song creates an electrified echo chamber that is stacked with bursting energy. An outcry of never getting enough roars through the just two and a half minutes, musically aided by an army of shredding guitars and a pulsating rhythmic section. Just when these begin to tear it all apart, the track closes it off abruptly, to leave you, exactly, wanting more. The single comes with a suspenseful music video that suitably captures the vibe of the tune. Be sure to look out for these folks – their debut record 925 arrives on March 27th.
