The latest single by the four-piece clearly captures the warmth of 70s and 80s high times and mixes it with a certain youthful naivety in terms of the romantic lyrical content. Still, Swimming Girls‘ level of reflection gives the catchy track a certain melancholic notion which makes the whole experience even more tempting. It’s just a really good pop song and if the band will continue do deliver more of them this could be the start of something pretty wonderful.
