London-based singer and musician Viji, aka Vanilla Jenner is obsessed with pop. Influenced by pop culture from a young age, she was exposed to music and films which resonate into her musical output today. Skin Deep is the latest single from her upcoming EP Cali out next month. The intimate stripped back song contains a highly personal message and thrives on the restrained instrumentation highlighting the tender voice of the singer. “Every time you want me to give more than I can, for you”, she sings of the inability to set boundaries.
