Thank god, beloved Danish artist Trentemøller is usually quite picky when it comes to signing other artists to his own label In My Room. Because when he actually does you can be sure to get quite marvellous material. Danish artist Silas Tinglef is the latest one to join the small gang. His alter ego 2nd Blood delivers finest dark wave pop delicacies that sound a bit like Trentemøller’s usual output but also takes influences from all the other artists Silas has been worked with – The Raveonettes and Jacob Bellens, for example. The pumping yet quite psychedelic Type 9000 is taken from 2nd Blood‘s freshly released debut EP Running Blind which I strongly recommend if you are into this sort of sound.
