Once again the Atlas Bird flies. The trio from Germany invites the listener to take a flight on the catchy guitar-riffs and crashing drums on the new single Clarity. The massive rock arrangements of the chorus burst into stadium-sized musical avalanches while the more minimalistic verses speak of a personal crisis and over coming it. ‘Embrace my name, inhale confidence into your lungs’ could not paint a more accurate picture of someone breaking free from the shackles of doubts and expectations. The pulsating beats and the raw and emotionally loaded instrumentation ride on the majestic wings of post-rock at its best times, as the trio inspires with the encouraging and emotional message.
