Anyone here remember Der Ringer? Back in 2017 the German outfit released a pretty impressive and adventurous debut album called Soft Kill which might have also excited you even if you’re not fluent in the German language. Now, the lads return with a massive new single called Heart Of Darkness. Despite its title the song however is still performed in German but once again you don’t need to know every word to understand its epic notion. Der Ringer deliver an auto-tune-infected piece of gloomy stadium prog rock that underlines their musical ambitions. There’s probably more greatness waiting further down the road so needless to say we’re looking forward to the rest of the year.
