Florence Besch Paints A Warm And Nostalgic Picture On “Game”
There’s something quite tempting in the sound of Düsseldorf-based songwriter Florence Besch and her latest single Game. It’s a sound that hard to define – like a clash of traditional folk and French chanson with a twist the Luxembourgish artist delivers a bewitching performance that caresses the listener. Especially towards the end when the brass comes into play the song really gets elevated on a different level. Combined with the vintage VHS footage that features 3-year old Besch along with her mother the entire song creates a sweet nostalgic vibe and it definitely gets us excited for the artist’s next moves. Her debut EP Bye Bye Blinders is set for a release on February 25 via Unique Records.
