Flyte – ‘White Roses’ (feat. The Staves)

Indie pop four-piece Flyte united with the folk trio The Staves for their first single of this year called White Roses. The mellow guitar strums and the mournful vocals of lead singer Will Taylor transport the feeling of experiencing a personal loss perfectly. Set at a funeral, the poetic and emotional lyrics go right to the heart. ‘Just never thought you would leave so soon / But those white roses are growing around the houses’. As a symbol of hope, redemption, and forgiveness, the image of the white rose plays the center role. Transported by gentle percussion and folky guitar strums, the perfect harmony of the two bands makes White Roses a truly touching and personal affair.
