It’s the perfect piece of music to get you started on a cold and grey Monday morning, if you ask me. According to Nagel the song “is about the strange feeling that one can sense when the first birds start to sing in the morning – something in between farewell and a new beginning” and I don’t know about you but I really dig that interpretation. The song is featured on Ambient Layers, a new compilation from 7K! records and it’s the artists first release on the acclaimed label. The accompanied black and white visuals surely help to underline the wonderful vibe of this song.
