Monochrome by Brighton-based shoegaze four-piece HANYA really feels like a long gone summerly fever dream and therefore it’s a much needed break from the bleak winter we are facing right now. On their latest single the newcomers unfold sun-drenched and hazy beauty, painting the imaginary images of the listener in te brightest colours. “It’s a song about re-connection with what makes you happy, taking pleasure from the little things,” says singer Heather Sheret so that nostalgic first impression appears to be quite fitting. Over the past two years HANYA already released a promising set of first singles and EPs and we can’t help but getting excited about what’s next for them on (and beyond) that shimmering horizon.
