Hailing from Berlin’s restless club scene Jennifer Touch‘s the latest single Chemistry is a deep dive into sinister 1980s pop territory. It spreads a cold sensuality that is carried by her cool vocal performance that perfectly fits to the pumping synth foundation of this tune. It’s got that Anne Clarke vibe, teaming up with a more modern take on this sound, just like her German colleague Perel. Recreating that sort of sound is a far more difficult than one might think and Jennifer Touch manages to keep it simple and efficient and that really brings out the best in this song, don’t you agree? It’s out now via Leipzig-based label Riotvan.
