Under Tears is the solo project by one half of Berlin’s electro pop duo Evvol. Julie Chance takes to the mic on her own accompanied only by a simple guitar melody. Working with several vocal layers the artist creates an echoing effect on Good Drying Weather. The minimalistic vibe and the quietly swelling synths draw a doomy picture fitting for a foggy mid-autumn walk while the video reminds of the long nights out that we used to take for granted. The single is the first track the singer releases as Under Tears and the distinct soundscape Julie Chance conjures shows the musical vision of the artist.
