That New Wet Leg Single Is A Two-And-Half-Minutes Wet Indie Rock Dream

According to an urban mystery (and the press release) Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers formed their band Wet Leg after meeting on the top of a ferris wheel on the Isle Of Wright and that’s just the sort of background story a band like these two need. Freshly signed to the mighty Domino Records Wet Dream is their second single following Chaise Longue which you might have spotted in our Listen Ahead Playlist earlier this summer. The song’s just the sort of uplifting power “Go!”-tune that will make your day essentially better, put a smile upon your face and get you on the dancefloor once the indie rock clubs of this world are opening up again. It also comes with a bizarre music video from Rhian Teasdale. There’s a lot going on here (what about those hummer claws?), so I kindly advice you to enjoy the clip as well. And of course, Wet Leg will probably play a major part in a hopefully quite normale 2022 summer festival season again.
