The Irish-Catalan singer Núria Graham has been on our radar for a while now. Last week, she followed her 2020 album Marjorie with a fresh track called At Last. On the single the artist takes a step away from her previously restrained and minimalist songwriting style. Instead of the retro-infused aesthetic, she makes At Last a synth-laden single with a dramatic arc building throughout the verses. More alt-pop than alt-folk, the single is about being kind to oneself and was written during a time in the Núria Graham‘s life when she was trying to get some space, “observing, while getting the train every day to the studio and breathing, dreaming of a way to escape, somehow, from something I wasn’t even aware of that time”. At Last shows a new side of the musician’s musical style and we are excited to see where else she will take it.
