Talented songwriter Sarah Howells aka Bryde left the territory of tender acoustic ballads a while ago to head for a rawer lo-fi rock spirit. Just compare her new single Desire to her debut one Wait from two years ago. Produced with Chris Sorem and mixed by CJ Marks (Wolf Alice, PJ Harvey) the delicate piece is ‘about lust, our need for instant gratification, about desire’s addictive qualities and how they can make us behave’ as Bryde states it. The charming indie rocker is a first teaser from her solo debut album which arrives in the spring of 2018 via Seahorse Music.
